NIMA Sushi & Uramakeria

For Nima Sushi, NRC Company developed and implemented a complete digital infrastructure solution designed to support operations across the entire Italian territory.
We created and deployed secure, high-performance websites based on an optimized LAMP stack architecture, integrating a CDN for accelerated content delivery and advanced caching systems with Redis to enhance backend performance and scalability.

The CMS platforms were fully hardened at both configuration and code levels, significantly reducing exposure to common vulnerabilities. Continuous application security was ensured through the implementation of an active Web Application Firewall (WAF), server-side input validation, and regular patching.

The project also included the design and deployment of a dedicated, highly secure server infrastructure. Using VPS and bare-metal servers, we established strict environment separation between staging and production, integrated a Layer 7 HTTP/HTTPS load balancing system with active failover capabilities, and implemented automated backup procedures with encrypted full and incremental backups following AES-256 standards.

To maintain operational continuity and performance visibility, we set up a full monitoring stack using Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana, enabling proactive management and incident response. All internal communication between nodes and management systems is secured via IPSec VPNs configured with site-to-site encryption.

System management follows strict security standards: all Linux servers are hardened according to the CIS Benchmarks, and updates are managed through automated Ansible playbooks to ensure timely patching without manual intervention. Log management is centralized through the ELK Stack, supporting real-time anomaly detection and maintaining full audit trails. Access to critical systems is restricted via bastion hosts and protected with enforced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Cybersecurity was a top priority in this project. We deployed UTM (Unified Threat Management) firewalls, segmented networks using VLANs and DMZs, and configured inline IDS/IPS systems based on Snort with custom, regularly updated rules. Web-facing services are shielded behind an active WAF, and SSL/TLS certificates (wildcard) are automatically renewed to enforce HTTPS and HSTS standards.
Server endpoints are protected using EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solutions, and regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests are conducted to validate security postures. A Zero Trust model governs access to all sensitive environments.

Regarding compliance, the infrastructure adheres fully to GDPR requirements: data encryption is enforced both in transit and at rest, with granular access controls and regular audit processes. A fully documented and periodically tested Disaster Recovery Plan ensures business continuity under any critical conditions.

Through this comprehensive project, NRC Company delivered to Nima Sushi a resilient, scalable, and highly secure digital ecosystem, enabling reliable service delivery and supporting their expansion across the Italian market.
